Hair thinning is gradual, and by the time it is obvious in photographs it has usually been under way for a while. That timing matters, because the treatments here work on follicles that are still alive and producing — just producing finer, shorter hairs than before.
Neither treatment offered here can regrow hair from a follicle that has already died. If an area has been completely smooth for years, no injection will change that, and you will be told so rather than sold a course.
What these treatments can realistically do is support thinning areas, and they work best started early. Both are courses of treatment with ongoing maintenance, not a one-time fix.
Consultations are complimentary, confidential and carry no obligation. We see clients from across Vaughan, Maple, Woodbridge, Concord, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and north Toronto.
PRP for Hair
Using your own platelets
Blood is drawn, spun to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, and injected across the thinning areas of the scalp. Full detail of how the plasma is prepared is on the PRP page.
It is the better-studied of the two options for early androgenetic thinning, though published results still vary between individuals. PRP is not a licensed drug or device in Canada for this use.
- Uses your own blood — nothing foreign
- Best evidence for early, diffuse thinning
- A series, then maintenance

Hair Mesotherapy
A nutrient solution into the scalp
Micro-injections deliver a solution of vitamins, amino acids and other ingredients into the scalp. It requires no blood draw, which suits people who would rather avoid one, and is often run alongside PRP rather than instead of it.
As with mesotherapy generally, it is not Health Canada approved as a treatment (the products used are Health Canada approved, but not for injection, so injecting them is considered off-label use, which is legal), and the evidence base is weaker than for PRP. That is stated plainly so you can weigh it.
- No blood draw needed
- Health Canada approved products, used off-label (legal)
- Often combined with PRP
